Donations
So Donations are back up on the Schoolhouse site. I know what you’re thinking. OOOH, Now he asks for money. But honestly, it’s there to use if you want to. Schoolhouse is donationware. If you like it, and would like to support me a little, you can donate. I write Schoolhouse for two reasons. One, I wanted to learn to program, and Schoolhouse was my first big project. Second, I feel that college students spend enough money as it is on books, tuition, alcohol…wait, that’s not supposed to be in there…who wrote that?! Anyway. So there you go. Use as directed, if a rash occurs, stop taking immediately and consult your physician.

By the way, congratulations on Schoolhouse making it into Macworld Magazine!

Schoolhouse is awesome; I use it every day and it’s making grad school way more organized than it ever would’ve otherwise been for me. So, great job and thanks a mint.
One thing you ought to do is set up a mail system to e-mail everyone about 5 years after initial download asking for donations–”Did Schoolhouse help you through school? Let’s have some kickbacks!” or something like that. I mean, your audience is all students, and we’re mostly all broke. But in another four or five years I wouldn’t be at all offended if you hit me up for some cash.
Cheers,
David Godot
