Macworld August ‘07
So I’m sitting at work today, and I get an email from one of the users of Schoolhouse. They are like…”Great software, and congrats on getting into the new issue of Macworld!”
…WHA? I don’t take Macworld anymore, needless to say. So after work I lead my roommates on a voyage to find a copy. Borders. They have to have it, right? Not a single copy. I don’t know if they just don’t take it or what. Finally I find it at Safeway. Sure enough, I’m in there. One of the 63 Great Mac Downloads reviewed this month. I get four out of five mice. Pretty awesome!
So thanks to the people at Macworld for the mention. I’ve never been in a magazine before…

Excellent work. I would be so stoked if MacWorld featured a product I had engineered. Congrats! *BTW, it is a great product*

The article is how I found this site! Looks cool.
I review free software for my blog. Can I review you?

I am new to Schoolhouse and as a mother of 3 teenagers it is great to have an application which will keep my kids organised with their studies. I have a few questions. We have two computers which are networked and I was wondering if you had any suggestions about how best to use this application across a network? If they do something on their schedule on one computer how can it update the schedule on the other computer? Also is the software multi-user?
Thanks again for Schoolhouse.

I just want to thank you for making this software! I absolutely love it! I will be joining an IB school for the first time which is supposed to suck the soul right out of you. I have been trying to look for tools online during the summer to help me establish a good habit for student life. Organization, Time management, anything that will take this weight off my shoulder. I am also trying to save money since studying abroad is expensive. I searched at Mac downloads and skipped anything that wasn’t free. When I came across your software I was thrilled that I could have access to something useful. It functions perfectly for my need!
I feel so lucky to have the advantage that my parents didn’t have when they were around my age. They didn’t even have the computer back then. Innovations like this makes life SOO much easier. I proudly keep it on my desktop! lol!!

Congratulations on your mention in MacWorld! That’s really something! And you deserve it too.
Also, it’ll definitely provide a big boost to your user base. Keep in mind that that mag isn’t just read in the US, it’s distributed in Europe as well! Now you’ll definitely get a downpour of feedback e-mails! You already have mine
Good luck!

Congratulations !!!
Schoolhouse is amazing
(But, and there’s always a but, it would be better if we, french people, could trace graphs with our grades (not percentage but raw score), and if we could have wheighted grading in absolute (not percentage; ex: 20/20 wheight 2= 2*20/20)
Thanks !

Logan, how are things going for you at Apple? You’re still there, I assume. I’ve really been looking forward to seeing some updates to Schoolhouse — there are a couple bugs I’ve mentioned either in an email or a bug report or something.
Besides that, I just want to make sure you aren’t forgetting about all of us who have to go to school!
